Pedri was proclaimed Spanish Super Champion with FC Barcelona, after a 5-2 victory over Real Madrid. His presence on the field was key to the team’s dominance, which added another title to its history.

April 17ᵗʰ 2021 becomes a very special date for Pedri. He won his first title as a FC Barcelona player, beating Athletic Club Bilbao (0-4) the Copa del Rey final at the La Cartuja stadium in Seville.
In the spring of 2021, Pedri takes a new leap in his international career and is called up by Luis Enrique with the national team to play qualifying matches for the World Cup in Qatar 2022, making his debut against the Greek national team.
In the fall of 2020, he fulfilled his dream of playing for the club he has been a lifelong fan of, FC Barcelona. Scoring his first goal in the Champions League in October against the Hungarian Ferencváros Torna Club at the age of 17.
In October he was called up for the U-17 World Cup in Brazil, challenging for the starting position on the left wing against the captain of that team. Competing until the quarterfinals of the championship, in which they were thrashed by France 6-1.
In September 2019, FC Barcelona decides to go after the young promise, setting his incorporation for the summer of 2020 in exchange for 5 million euros. It was not a difficult decision for the player, the club of his dreams was knocking at his door.
On August 18ᵗʰ 2019, he debuted in the Second Division (LaLiga SmartBank) at the age 16. Several games later he managed to score his first goal and went on to become the youngest player to do so in the history of his club UD Las Palmas.
In the spring of 2018, Pedri jumpes over to Gran Canaria, leaving life in his native Tenerife behind to sign for UD Las Palmas. In the UD Youth team, a stage begins in which the dream of becoming a professional is getting ever closer.
Pedri joins the ranks of the Club de Fútbol Juventud Laguna U-14, in a town near his native Tegueste, and firmly begins his commitment to becoming a professional soccer player. The magic is starting to be felt.
His style begins to become shaped between the street and the court of his hometown, always accompanied by his older brother Fernando González. During the summer of 2015 he entered the lower categories of the Unión Deportiva Tegueste.
Pedri González was born on November 25th 2002 in the town of Tegueste in Tenerife, Canary Islands.
